Frequently Asked
Questions
Q. Which section of a paper will my ad
be published?
A. All personal ads are published in dating section of
most newspapers. Some papers even have International dating
sections.
Q. How long should my ad be?
A. Approximately 250-300 characters. That's about 20-25 words.
Different papers have different ad length requirements. We make several
copies of your ad according to those requirements.
Q. What type of information should be
included in my ad?
A. It is recommended that you put your age, height, weight,
and a few words of your personal description. You should also put a few words of
the lady's description. Your address is a must. E-mail address is
optional but it would be nice to have it. You can see an example of the
ad on the ad submission page.
Q. Do I have to give my real home
address?
A. You can submit your real address, but for privacy
protection reasons
you may want to provide any other address (work address, P.O. box,
etc). However, the address must be valid because it will be used for
correspondence.
Q. What type of e-mail address should I
submit with my ad?
A. You can submit your real e-mail address. However, it is
recommended that you have as short an e-mail address as possible.
Good e-mail: jhon@bla.com
Bad e-mail: john.crew_aras@att.bla.network.mil
Q. Do I have to ask in my ad to write me
letters in English or any other language?
A. Yes, you can ask that. However, keep in mind that many
women will not be able to translate letters themselves. The translation
service is pretty expensive and not many ladies can afford to use it.
Therefore, to require the letters in English (or any other language)
will reduce the response rate.
Q. Can I ask for a lady's picture in my
ad?
A. Yes, it is recommended
Q. Do papers publish pictures?
A. Unfortunately, no. Many papers do not accept pictures to
publish.
Q. Can my ad be published in English or
any other language?
A. All ads are published in Russian, but some papers can publish your ad in English. However, it is
not recommended as many ladies will not be able to read it. Do not
forget, English is not a common language in Russia (or any other former
USSR republics) and, therefore, your ad in English may not work as
well as it might work in Russian.
Q How many weeks in a raw do I have to run my ad
to get a better result?
A. The
statistic shows that a higher ad frequency leads to a much higher response
rate than just a single run and, therefore, to a better result. The
most effective frequency is to run the ads is 4-6 weeks. The longer you
run your ad the better chance you get and at lesser cost per ad.
Q. I already ran my ads for 4
weeks and I'm still getting the responses. Should I repeat
the process to get even better result?
A. Many clients repeat the process at least 3-4 times within 1
year (that is once in 3-4 month) period. We had clients who have been
running the ads for 2 years. Even though they get pretty good responses
they still want to make sure that they explore all possibilities.
Q. How often are those papers published?
A. Most papers are weekly and published once a week. However,
there are few of them which are published two-three times a week.
Q. Do I get an actual copy of my ad
printed in a paper?
A. We send your ad to over 100 of different papers and
it's physically impossible to get the copy of your ad from so many
papers. Moreover, those papers are published, distributed and able to
provide a physical copy of the ads published only in their local
areas. By the way, you will not get a copy of your ad even if you place
it in your local paper. You have to buy the physical copy of a paper to
confirm if your ad was
published.
Q. How long does it take you to
get my ad ready?
A. It takes us few days to get your ad ready (to put the ad
in appropriate order, translate it and check if you do not miss any
important information). We will send you the final draft of the ad
for your approval. If your wrote an ad correctly then we do not need to
confirm it with you. After it's translated into Russian we may send you
a copy of it if you wish.
Q. How long does it take my ad to be
published?
A. It takes in average 5-14 days to publish your ad after it
is sent to the publishers.
Q. How often do you send the ads out to
the publishers?
A. On average, once a week
Q. How quickly do I get responses?
A. You may see first responses as quickly as in one week. However, it depends.
It takes on average of 1-4 weeks for mail letters. E-mail responses are
faster. Though, we can not promise anything in this respect.
Q. How many responses do I get?
A. Please remember that not all ads produce equal result and
response rate is deferent for each individual person. Some of our
clients have received as many as 350 responses from an ad campaign.
However, we can not promise anything in this respect.
Q. What if I do not get any responses?
A. Well, of course, there is a possibility of this happening.
However, in all our history (since 1998) we have received only one
complaint in this regard and it was from a guy from Middle East who was
looking for a third wife (da-ah) even though we warned him about the
potential problem prior placing his ad. So if you are married and
looking for an additional wife to add to your harem then you should
expect to fail.
Other than that we had NO complaints.
More over, if this happens we guarantee to repeat the entire process
at no cost to you. That is we'll pay out of our pocket to re-run your ad
campaign.
Q. Are ads 100% printed in all papers?
A. As in any other print media there is a chance that your ad
may not be printed and the actual print rate may vary. However, if you
place your ad in many newspapers (with 3-4 weeks of duration) you will be safe as your ad
will be published in the majority of them.
Q. Should I still use Internet agencies
while running my ads?
A. Absolutely. Newspapers ads can work alone for you but using
the Internet agencies you will increase your chances for success.
Q. Are the paper ads expensive?
A. If you ever placed any ads in the papers then you might
notice that an average ad cost is $20-$60/single run. With our service
the average cost is as low as $0.45/per single run. You do the math.
Q. What does my ad look like in a
paper?
A. It looks like the one
below.
